Dean the E6300 is a pentium part so failure rates are higher than it's Core 2 stable mates but not by a huge amount, did you overclock it or undercool it?
i.e. have you cooked the fecker?
I haven't overclocked it since I've had it, and I haven't been running a standard cooler but rather a Akasa cooler. Need to ideally try another CPU on the board to rule it out, maybe try and persuade someone to try their's in my machine 'Cough' Gav 'Cough' if I buy the thermal paste  Dean i haz lots of thermal grease. Arctic silver shizz. You can try my E6750 if you wish. |

Well the the second one I got of Jof which didn't work at first, then did, then didn't again but is currently working? (Famous Last Words!!!) It seemed to be unstable when testing it at Jof's, but is running for now but I'm half expecting it to stop anytime? How much do you want for that as I have a few bits of extra work on this month so should have some spare £'s? |

Only (slight) complication is that the chip will have to come later - IF you need it. My nephew is getting my E6750 and I'm taking his E6600 in exchange. He lives in Stockport, though, and it'll be a month or so till we can swap.
Either way, if your CPU is still ok, you can have the mobo now. Just send me your addy and I'll ship it.

That will be cool the cpu would be useful as I'm not 100% sure the one I have isn't part of the problem as well? I can certainly wait for that and use the one I have here for now.
