not sure on this, buying new content for ArmA  Huh

Normally this sort of stuff would come from the community gratis, those models do this good though.

Will have to be a group decision on this, as if one person buys; we all have to buy.

Agreed. I'm happy either way. We'll do a vote nearer the time, maybe?

Yeah I'm just reporting on the story.  I'm not sure there's enough content in there - in reality, this is the new stuff:

Vehicles: Jackal 2, FV510 Warrior, AH11 Wildcat, Merlin HC3
Weapons: L85A2, L7A2 GPMG, AS50, LRR, NLAW, L2A1, L134A1

http://www.arma2.com/game-features/arma-2-operation-arrowhead-british-armed-forces-features_en.html

As Ridg said; they produced much of this content for Arma II from the community so I'm all for waiting...

Although NOT playing the US army would be good reason though... £7.99 worth of reason??

I look at it as helping Bohemia make enough money to make it work their while developing ArmA 3.

When you add that in - it's looking more reasonable...

does it really make a difference what your character is wearing? Thats half the price of the original game. I'd wait and see what the community come up with

In truth - you're right, but to be honest I'm fed up with the whole attitude that the US army is the only army in the world...

Indeed, but I can understand an Irishman not being thrilled about dressing up like a British Soldier, to be fair...

Although the vehicles would be cool. You could pretend you stole 'em!  Wink

I bet its just a paint job and the robot voices are still the Americans. The Game is in the post now, but i cant see myself paying 50% of the game price just so i can look at Ridg in a british army gear.

Personally i like to keep look out for the enemy and not eyeing up my team mates...."doesn't his bum look better in the british green" ..."shit i died looking at Junkmans bum again"....lol
